Passing By…
?Did you know you have healing in your hands?
You certainly do.
Right now, this very moment your hands contain healing for the soul of another.
At your fingertips lies the greatest opportunity for ministry the World has ever known since the beginning of time… Your keyboard. We live in a technology World these days and have been granted an opportunity more far reaching to those who are lost or are in need and hurting than the Apostles of old could even fathom.
But do we pass by when so many are calling out or do we stop for just a brief moment and use wisely what the Lord has blessed us with? Our healing hands.
Jesus said in Mathew 25 that whatever we do to another, we are actually doing unto HIM.
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
Spiritually speaking, the Lord is commissioning us to be HIS HANDS & FEET to the least of these – those who are in need in any way. To not pass them by.
To whom much is given, much is expected and we have been given so very much. What we do with all we have been given is our choice. Do we count our blessings each day, looking for ways to bless another? Or do we fixate on losses or hopeless desires, refusing to take what He has graced us with and spread His loving compassion to others?
There is an old worship hymn that says, “Lord don’t pass me by.” But… Are we passing others by and yet crying for Him not to pass us by?
There was a leper who laid before the Gate Beautiful who was lame since birth. When Peter and Paul came upon him that day, they did not pass him by like all the others who came before them had done.
In Acts Chapter 3 we can see ourselves what life altering miracle took place that day:
6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God.
So who can you lift up today with your right hand? Who is divinely placed before you this day to receive strength from the healing within your hands?
Or will today be just like every other ordinary day… Where you pass on by?
As we are just passing through in this life, it is my prayer we not pass by another lame and wounded soul, but rather take the time to lift them up by our own hands, in order they too receive strength to stand, then walk and quite possibly go leaping and praising God.
Divine appointments await each one of you this day, may you be moved by compassion to be the love you are anointed to be.?
In His Love,
