A torn heart, a broken mind,

Do we break the ties that bind?

Do we look, yet turn away?

From the love our SAVIOR gave.

Do we know when sin took hold?

And cast us down that deadly road.

When we took Gods love and amazing grace,

Exchanged it for our own embrace.

A life of me, a life of self,

A life of nothing, a life of waste,

A life that surely need be replaced.

I pray someday you will turn around,

Look to the Lord, stop looking round.

I pray one day we all will know,

What our LORD gave to keep us from below.

He gave HIMSELF for you and me He gave HIMSELF to set us free.
