I walked in sin, I let it last
I had no future, lost my past
I crossed that line between sin and death
Pain was my friend, what I knew best.
Here but there tossed everywhere
I drowned in the waves of my very existence
I did not look, I did not see
To wrapped up in misery.
A dead man walking, the prisms of life
A self inflicted prison
A self inflicted strife.
I was the enemy of my own life… BUT GOD, But God came you see.
He took my hand, walked beside me, He saw my sin He saw my death, He took hold and gave me rest.
Taught me, showed me, what I could not see, gave me the freedom to be all I can be.
For if we live through JESUS CHRIST, we are blessed with perfect life.
Given treasures for all to see.
They may not be silver and gold
But they are the treasures that save your soul, give you peace and perfect rest, JESUS is the treasure that keeps you blessed.
No better treasure to receive than the LOVE, my SAVIOUR HAS FOR ME.
