Encouraging Truth ~ A Letter From A Precious Sister

?Dear Angel,

I pray this letter finds you well and living joyously because you are so Loved!!!

Psalm 91:4, He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Chickens are amazing in that they can cover their chicks, no matter how many, with their wings and feathers, for their protection and comfort, allowing them safety and rest. Our Father feels the same way about us. He describes Himself doing this for us, through His psalmist, covering us with His feathers. Our job as His child is to trust Him and His love for us. Then He says something else important: His truth is our shield and buckler. We ask, what is this truth that shields and covers us?

Our Father loves us so much that He sent His only Begotten Son to live and die for us!!! Why does He love us so much? Why are we so important to Him? Because He created us to be His sons and daughters, His family. He desired communion with us, people of His own heart of love.

Ephesians 1:3-6, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will. To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Our Father had chosen mankind to come forth from Him before the foundation of the world. Adam and Eve chose to disobey their Father with knowledge of good and evil. The sin of selfishness entered into mankind, just like the state of satan. But Jesus hath made us acceptable, without blame and holy before our Father, in His new covenant! We are back in the Garden and Jesus calls it the Kingdom of God!

We have been taught that we are accepted by our Father because He sees us covered with the blood of Jesus, and yes, this is true. But what does it mean? It means that because of Christ, and not our works, that Our Father sees us without sin and who He designed and created us to be in His glory. We were created in love, for love. Love that fails not, nor seeks it’s own, is kind, and does not lift itself up. In His eyes, we love like He loves. We can bear all things, believe all things, hope all things and endure all things. We are not selfish at all, but consider others better than ourselves. And we see others like our Father sees them. That is the truth about us. Just like Jesus did. He saw the people for their true value, the value that mankind was purposed by God, our Father in the beginning. Jesus was not disgusted with the masses, but had all the patience and love needed to heal everyone who came to Him, to teach the people that the Kingdom of God has come and the truth of the Gospel. He did not live the religious protocol, but spent Himself on the people and their needs. He gave them truth about who they were created to be, why they were here, and healed their hearts and diseases, bringing even some back to life because they were not meant to die so young. The only boundary Jesus set was His quiet time with His Father and sometimes chose a night without sleep to do this, instead of taking time away from people who needed Him.

In the following scripture of I Corinthians, I use the KJV and the word Charity is used in place of the word Love. The word charity is love in action, a noun acting like a verb! Is this not amazing how exact The Word of God can be!?

I Corinthians 13:4-8a, Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth:….

In conclusion, I set before you The Truth about us. That we are like our Father as we have come forth from Him because we are born again. When we see Jesus, we see ourselves. Therefore, when the “old man” rises in our thoughts and actions, this is not the real us…. anymore. We can, by faith, believing what The Word says about us, then submit to our Father with humbleness to confess this is not the real me. If it is a thought, then I do not have to accept this as my own and not act on it, and praise God for His truth. If it is an action on my part that is not a loving and godly response, then I can confess this immediately, and praise God for the truth of who I really am. Thus, I keep my focus on Jesus and on truth, and the new creature that He has created me to be. I am not focusing on a sinner conciousness, keeping me in a state of failure and sin. This is resisting the devil…….by submitting to God! And as I continue to see myself coming forth from my Father by faith, I am walking in the Spirit and in truth. Thus, through His power, my flesh and my mind follow my heart that loves my God because my God loves me first! Remember how Jesus says that the truth shall set us free!? This is our shield and buckler!

John 8:31,32, Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

This dear Angel, is the only way that I have found to live by The Spirit in Truth. Believing and acting upon what The Word says about me. I have focused far too long on my sinful nature and kept myself from growing and in a constant state of condemnation through failures to be a good Christian. This way, my focus is on Jesus and The Word, and I find myself growing and becoming the woman of God that I am created to be. May The Good Master continue to teach us about Himself!

God bless you dear friend,

Your friend in Christ

So lovely….In predestination, we are the parts of himself He created for certain communion with Him for eternity, not as a clone, but as a soul with thoughts and experiences all our own, whom He sent out into the world to live out choices that make us long for Him. Can you imagine an eternity of being able to converse with your ‘children’ about how their day went :D. I’m putting Eph.1:3-6 on my computer desk for a reminder of my place in His love and the JOY that is a constant reminder of future events done God’s way. <3
