Crying, Abba Father~

My Lord, my Light, my everything,
You are my grace-filled, precious King
O Way, O Truth, O Life of mine
Within my soul Your light doth shine.

Teach me, Lord, to follow You
In all I think or say or do
To learn to die to self and sin
And from the ashes rise again.

Great longing for You engulfs my soul,
Your glorious face I long to behold,
Where is this family of which You speak?
My loneliness has made me weak.

Where are those who know Your grace?
I long to see them face to face.
To help me daily in my walk
and pick me up when I cannot walk.

O Lord, O Lord, my heart, it aches
To know my worth here in this place.
You’ve cleaved my marrow and my bone
Please,
O please,
Lord, take me home.
