Jesus Writes In The Sand~

This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. John 8:8

Have you ever wondered why Jesus wrote in the sand?  Or pondered even what He wrote?  I believe it was not so much what He wrote, but rather the demonstration He gave in choosing to ignore the accusations being railed towards the woman caught in adultery.

Jesus was purposeful in everything He said and did.  His actions often spoke louder than His words, even to the point of defeating eternal death for all who would come near and know Him as Lord and Savior.

So much of our lives has been spent on sinking sand.  And the times we too have suffered from getting caught in sin, bare and open for the World to see, He is there to join with us, erasing our past in order we may go forward with a clean heart and a clean slate.  I cannot count all the times that just like the Pharisees, others are just waiting for my mess up in order to capture me in their net of accusation.  The truth is…  I am already guilty, broken and full of shame.  And it is because I recognize the lack of me, I can fully embrace the Redeemer Who lives within… Him.

Every single day, Jesus writes in the sand upon the fabric of our lives, making all things new and beautiful in His time.  Even broken messes like me and you,  we are His specialty.  Jesus always gravitated to those in need of Him and He changes not.  What was His true nature then, is still prevalent in how He moves by compassion to embrace those of a broken heart.  As He writes a new word over our lives, what was crushing our souls is turned into a glorious testimony of Him.

The sand represents that which is temporary.  All these struggles, heartaches and disappointments are not joined with our destiny in Jesus.  In His covering love He embraces us and gently begins to love us back into truth.  His truth, not what man says, but what the Lord Himself knows to be true.  Jesus rewrites our past failures with one touch of His hand upon our hearts.

I can only imagine the emotions this woman must have felt as she was presented before the Lord in open shame.  She likely looked down, gazing upon His worn and dirty feet, ready to receive the punishment she already knew she deserved.  If she is at all like me, every accusation railed against was true and if they only knew, time and again she had done worse than that, as a women with a desperate heart for love.  Jesus already knew and it was her desperation that moved Him to embrace her in His love, making her whole.  He is doing the same with us, each time we get caught, He wipes the shame and fear away.

And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. John 8:11

The truth is ~ This woman found herself that day.  As Jesus removed her out of the clutches of her accusers, she broke free from being an adulterer bound in shame.  She was no longer bound by the weight of sin caused by pleasing others to the place where she lost herself.

She was found, once lost, now found.

Jesus restored her true identity in Him, erasing all the past mistakes which had tainted her vision of who she really was.

For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. Psalm 72:12

It is my prayer we no longer be shameful of being needy, broken and hurt.  To deny our shortcomings, would be to deny Jesus’s desire to make us clean and new in Him.  Remember this is your story, Jesus is the Author and Finisher of all that is written about you.  Man often sees all our missteps, while Jesus erases them.  So this begs the question…  Just “Who” should we follow after?

May The Lord Bless You In His Love,

The Noisy Burden of the Lord

And the burden of the Lord shall ye mention no more: for every man’s word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the Lord of hosts our God. Jeremiah 23:36

I am not sure if it is just me and the few within the company I keep, but it seems there is so much “Noise” out there anymore, it is getting more and more difficult to tune it out and tune God in…  You know what they say about opinions – Everyone has one and I won’t finish the rest of what they actually say, but I am sure you get my drift.  Evidently, Jeremiah was discerning the same “Noise,” since he wrote about this at the leading of the Holy Spirit, especially in Chapter 23.  Since we know there is nothing new under the sun, what was prevalent then, remains a tactic today.

I used the word tactic purposely, because that is exactly what this noise producing chaos seeks to use to not only wear down the Saints of the Most High God, but also dull our senses to hearing the still small voice of the Lamb, Who is leading us Home into His Kingdom.  It is getting harder and harder all the time to sweep out the cobwebs held within the corner of our minds, in order we can take captive OUR thoughts, replacing them with HIS thoughts.  But how can I possibly even accomplish this if I run with the others, proclaiming the Burden of the Lord while screaming my lungs out?  The truth is, I can’t.  That’s not to say you can’t, but I am saying…  I cannot.

So, as I was seeking the Lord on why it seems very loud lately, He reminded me of a verse that reflects this irritant, resembling magnified noise.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become assounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 1 Corinthians 13:1

In pondering this Scripture, I began to consider how even silence can be loud at times or how loud voices can be soothing, so I began to see a distinct lack of love which precipitates noise.  In my humble opinion, it is not so much the volume of things which is irritating in nature, but rather the source and any source outside of love simply rubs us the wrong way.  We know by the Word, that the love of many will grow colder and colder, this is something we are witnessing in the World around us today on a greater measure than ever before.

We were made for LOVE💗

It is for this reason, I and several others, sense a need to pull away, retreat or withdrawal from the outside influence of the World and those still caught up in it.  As I was focused on the noise, it appears the noise is all I could hear and therefore, become a prisoner of it, so to speak.  The Lord began to show me how we all are prisoners in this World and death to self is our only escape.  Jesus came to set the captives free, me being one held captive in this foreign land.

When the Father put chaos to rest and formed something out of nothing, He laid the groundwork for our lives to be free of chaos, too.  The saddest thing to face is when drama has become your comfort and what you cling too, rather than walking free abiding in Jesus.  I can’t say I have figured this out fully yet myself, as I am doing my best to follow in His footsteps, listening intently so that where He leads, I will follow.  But, these days it is a moment by moment leading that we require to stay on the path of righteous calm.

Our Faith is greatly increased when we actually experience and see Him forming what the enemy meant as bad in our lives, into something precious and good for our eternal life.  When our life is nothing but troubled waters, Jesus is the bridge to help us cross over to the other side, into green pastures of rest in Him.  I used to focus more on what I did FOR Him, rather than what I did WITH Him.  We haven’t always hit on all six cylinders, Jesus and I, mainly due to my profound degree of lack, but lately I feel an urge from Him to push through, blocking everyone and everything else out just to spend time alone with Him, listening and receiving from only Him.

He reminded me yesterday again, that He is as close as the air I breathe.  Air is life sustaining, it is not seen or perceived unless we don’t have it.  This is similar to Jesus.  We need Him to endure here on Earth and often neglect to perceive He is present with us, but when He is hidden we cannot sustain in our own circumstances.

I keep getting these impressions that if we do not seek Him in our state of plenty, a severe time of lack is on the horizon.  No one wants to hear this really and I am aware of that.  But, if we cannot stop being so noisy a drastic measure is coming to straighten us out on just what is important… Love💗  People always overlook one another’s flaws and differences during a time of calamity and brother begins to love brother again in truth.  It has been my prayer for the past few weeks, that we not need a day of reckoning to awake us out of our slumber of selfish imprisonment and begin to love again.

The Burden of the Lord is not Worldly in nature, as He certainly is not on His Throne wringing His hands on what to do with the calamities on Earth.  His burden reflects His true nature, which is a pure love for His people.  And just like Jesus was moved by compassion to act, so should we be, so that in truth we can release our burdens to Him in the security of His love.  In the place of His love, there is no noise and confusion, only peace and serenity.  If it seems too simple to believe, it is because it is.  Therefore, I am urging you today, to take a deep breath and remind yourself…  He is as close as the next breath you breathe, because nothing can separate us from His life giving love and all we have to do is just take a moment to breathe…

In His Love,

Storm Warning ~ I AM THE STORM

So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth. Revelation 3:16

For a little over a week now, I have been hearing these four words continually in my Spirit ~ I AM THE STORM.  There have been others who are hearing these same words, so initially I just passed it off as confirmation.  However, this morning I am sensing He is not going to release me until I fully release what He is giving me, with the Body of Christ.  Messages such as these are even more difficult to deliver than to receive and something I do not take lightly, as I too am working out my own Salvation daily with fear and trembling, standing in awe before Him.

It has been a very long time since I have received such an urgent warning for the Church Body, let alone share it with others.  But, due to the pressing nature of what the Lord has shown me, I am being urged to release this timely word, as a warning of what is and is to come.

He has impressed upon me numerous times of how He is pleading with His people, via physical manifestations upon the Earth and His target are those who are lukewarm, or rather still in the Valley of Decision.  But, before you count yourself out of the gathering of the lukewarm, may I ask…  Have you passed the “Love test?”

When we have passed the “Love test” we have fully received the “Love of the truth.”  Since Jesus is; The Way, THE TRUTH and The Life, as He makes His abode in us as His Temple, we receive into us His love so that as a demonstration of Him on Earth, we pour His love out to others.  What we give love wise is not based on what another may deserve or how they treat us or anything of fleshly benefit to self.  Freely we receive, freely we give, without condition.  Hence, the “Passing of the Love Test.”  Agape at it’s finest💗

The danger with being lukewarm is they mix the two into one, however it benefits them.  They are not “Hot” receiving and sharing His love and they are not “Cold” without His love, but rather pick and choose who they show love to with partiality, playing favorites so to speak – they are the most critical self made judges in the church today and because they judge harshly, sadly they will be judged harshly.

This collection of people is who the Father is pleading with at the moment and in turn is who He is commanding I deliver this message to:   Any who are compromised and wavering at the moment, by refusing to take a stand against entertaining evil of any kind and partaking in the evil devices of the enemy.

Salute one another with an holy kiss The churches of Christ salute you.  Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.  And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. Romans 16:16-20

The Father is “Marking those who cause division and offense contrary to the Image of His Son, Jesus.”

As He is marking, He is also pleading with His people to separate themselves and come out from among them.

How is He pleading?  I am so glad you asked…  As the whole Earth is experiencing birth pains, which are ever increasing and intensifying, there is a direct correlation between the Earth manifesting storms and such and people’s behaviors.  It is dramatic and telling to the highest degree, if we will just take a moment to sit back and watch.  The Earth is basically manifesting in accordance with the heart conditions of man who resides within.  From our vantage point, it is both great and terrible at the same time.

With that, I will share the revelations He gave me on just how this is all intertwined together as a beautiful display of His Sovereignty crossing over where Spiritual births natural.

  • FIRES –  Represent people CONSUMING ONE ANOTHER with their lips.
  • FLOODS – Represent people overtaken in SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS and SPIRITUAL PRIDE
  • VOLCANOES -Represent ANGER ERUPTING in people.
  • HAIL – Represents the VERBAL STONES people are throwing at one another.
  • DROUGHTS -Represent the FAMINE IN THE LAND for the Word of God.
  • SICKNESS – Represents the CONDITIONS OF SOULS internally.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.  Philippians 2:9-11

💗Jesus is the purpose in all things.  May He rule and reign, through love, in our hearts authentically for His perfect will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

I too am joining the Father in Spirit and Truth, calling for all to come together in Jesus, Who is Love, as One Body in Him, none of us know just how long until the Father stops pleading with us to let go of all anger, strife and foolish divisions of wrath.  Because, if we do not humble ourselves in such a way, sudden destruction will surely come knocking on our doors and all wrath we have laid upon others as a heavy burden, will in turn come upon us swiftly.

What we sow, therefore we also shall reap.  There has never been a more crucial time as this to continue Sowing the seeds of love💗into all, deserving or undeserving in our own eyes.

Every knee will bow to something, it might as well be to truth.  Truth being, Jesus.  Jesus being, Love.

But… Why are you JOYFUL?

💗Or…  Is it even permissible to be JOYFUL?  Well, that simple question prompts many things to say and even more to think about.  I feel unsettled today.  You know the feeling of coming down from a JOY filled moment, after one looks upon you narrowly from partaking in a giggle or two.  And I am frustrated with myself once again and must admit I let the enemy steal my JOY.  Worse yet, I handed it right over to him…  Sigh

In the Word it says, “There is a time to laugh and a time to cry.”  Which tells me, laughing in an appropriate way is permissible and even encouraged.  Of course, this should never be at the expense of another through mocking or at lewd or vile topics, but harmless laughter in which the JOY of the Lord indwells within us, strengthens us to take another step with Him.

Am I even having this conversation right now?  It must be of importance or otherwise why would the Lord wake me up so early after such a short time of rest?  I was thinking about the stuff we do in the Name of the Lord and since it appears “holy” we do not blink an eye to proudly pronounce it in full declaration of self.  The Word also tells us to, “Boast only upon the Lord.”  And yet, we find great comfort in boasting on that which we do and do not do, touting on our personal religiosity.  Who are we really to even say what is permissible and what is not, unless it is already written and even at that we had better make sure we are not judging someone for sinning differently than us, because in truth for every wrong doing we so easily recognize in another, we have at least 10 more which are unrecognizable in ourselves.

Newsflash ~ We are not the personal measuring rods for another person’s faith walk.

As a matter of fact, even having an intention to do so will cause us to be puffed up to the point no one will want to interact with us.  It is so true that the higher we climb the harder we fall.  And if I am honest, I do not even want to fellowship with those who are constantly scornful, peering at others with a crooked brow of disdain.  These falls we succumb to are not only purposed, but required to keep us walking with the Lord in Spirit and truth, wearing humility as a crown.

Back to JOY💗

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.  Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Psalm 100

I simply love this portion of the Scripture ~ Serve the Lord with gladness!  It seems some of us, have checked our gladness at the door to the point we no longer have JOY and are becoming depleted of strength.  Jesus contains all that we need, He completes us in ways no man can orchestrate or explain.  Him, as our Source of JOY, will also produce the FRUIT OF JOY within us.  Religion without JOY and LOVE and PEACE is just that… Religion.  But, with Jesus we can go deeper, be fuller, find contentment, in which we lack for nothing, because He is our everything.  For centuries this has confounded the wise and still does today.  People often judge that what they do not understand and sadly, many religious people do not understand JOY because the narrow way they were taught is narrow mindedness.  However, that truly is not what the Lord meant at all.  He did not mean the narrow way was the rule way, He meant HE IS THE NARROW WAY few will find, because they are so caught up in earning salvation through doing this or not doing that, they missed the Savior of the World right before them…  They missed the JOY OF THE LORD and just like the Saducees, who were sad because they could not see, so will we be if we cannot see Him either.

We are bombarded with the terrible atrocities we are faced with in the World each and everyday.  And somewhere along the way, we have vacated a portion of Jesus, the portion of Him which infuses JOY into our lives.  Today, He is calling us to step back into Him and out of the chaos and confusion of the World.  To divinely receive fully all He has to offer, not as the World offers, which is temporary, but to drink of Him and never thirst again.  It is my prayer, you will join me today on a quest for JOY, so we are no longer weighted down by the World, which in all actuality is a place we do not belong anyway.  We are just passing through…  May the JOY OF THE LORD be your strength from this day forward.

Smile… Jesus loves you!💗

In His Love,

What to say?

💗God Bless you and may the Lord continue to shine His loving light upon you during these times of struggles and trials, where He is seen in the midst of the storm.  We, collectively, are learning at a rapid pace the SOVEREIGNTY of His nature, in our lives and the lives of those we love and hold dear to our hearts.

I haven’t written in awhile and even at this moment as I sit down to write, I am finding myself questioning “What to say?”  Mainly because it is better to say nothing, than to give an “Idle” word or worse yet say something harsh which might in turn discourage someone in the midst of their teaching fire.

Many of us are becoming much more aware and conscience of times in which we said something “thinking” it was the Lord, which in turn it actually was self.  This gives great pause to the soul and bridling to the tongue.  Once we get over this hump and truly realize just how out of line we can be, we begin to walk a little more fearful of the Lord and a lot more cautious of what we release out of our mouths to perform, regarding words upon the Earth.  Now that I am personally over the hump…  I cringe quite often at what I hear or see coming through others, praying fervently for them in silence, “Forgive them Father they too, know not what they do.”  The truth is, I don’t know what I am doing much often and as I decrease, He is increasing and change blossoms.

BOSSES…  Have you noticed there are self appointed BOSSES everywhere now?  Or maybe it is just me…  Or maybe it is because I have a tendenccy to be one?  The critical nature of carnality forges us into a position to attempt to rule over everyone and everything.  My question is:  If we are ruling over everything, where does the Lord fit into that picture?  Only HE IS SOVEREIGN, we are not.  Understanding His sovereignty releases our carnal minds of worry, fear, chaos and confusion.  But will we truly let go and let God?

What if letting God means I lose it all?  Family, finances, jobs, homes, health, stability, familiar surroundings?  All of life as we know it could vanish in a blink.  So fear will grip us so tightly, we freeze, unable to step out onto the water with Jesus.  He loves us so much He will not leave us where He found us.  As the Author & Finisher of our Faith, He molds us perfectly into His plan and purposed will, knowing just exactly the amount of fire we need to be perfected into His Image.  I can’t do this for you and you can’t do this for me.  This forging process is done by One, the Lord Himself.

The truth is, many we are called to LOVE, we are trying to rule over or rather be BOSS over.  I am finding that many are less receptive to the notion that Jesus is the Answer to all that troubles us, which troubles me greatly.  I am finding I have way less to say than before, because He already said it all.  Jesus is the narrow gate that few find because they believe they hold all the answers.

I had my most precious sister, Rikki, tell me the other day, “The gate is only narrow until we step in.” And when she said this to me, it was if my eyes were opened in an instant.  Her words washed over me like the spittle Jesus used on the blind man and I could see in truth.  Once we fully submit and step into Him all fear and worry and doubt is erased from our steps.  All desire to complain and control our circumstances vanishes in a blink.  His sovereignty marries our purpose and Faith is born.  And this Faith is real and authentic, no longer discussed with words, but a true knowing that He really has this and it is alright, already.

In Faith…  we no longer ponder “What to say…” but rather have assurance of “Who to say.”

Jesus is Lord

Jesus is Love

Jesus is Sovereign

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…  Hebrews 12:2

Jesus has the whole World in His hands, this includes me, you and those we love.  And today…  This is all I have to say.  It is already finished.

💗Love In Jesus,

Angela ~ Marked By Heaven

He Loves The Unlovable, Like Me~

💗Feeling very unlovable lately ~ Except by the Lord and I am scared by His love sometimes, because He loves me not in the way I want to be loved, but rather in the way I need to be loved.

Losing love…

It is not necessarily the losing of another’s life that makes us so sorrowful, but rather losing the love they poured into us which leaves a vacant hole.

And that hole continues to grow bigger and bigger with each loss.

And then…  There are lose who just stop loving us for no apparent reason, and we then turn it upon ourselves, as if it reveals more about us, rather than them.

We view ourselves as “Unlovable.”

And the heart breaks some more.

The Father gives and He takes away and that scares me the most.

It seems we are all going around trying to fill the void of that latest lost love.

So the chasm grows wider and deeper.

If the Father is the Source of all love, then in reality we do not lose any love, which is simply just an imagined state of reality.  Because, He is constantly pouring His love into us and others.  No love is lost, only the person or thing is gone and they are not really lost, but rather not appointed to be that particular vessel of love anymore in our lives.

Love is a constant and only the Father truly loves the unlovable like me.

We are similar to a sponge…  Absorbing love constantly, in order we do not dry up and become brittle.

Others, are like a watering can containing love like water, pouring out continually to others.

The water is, the love of the Lord.

The more love we receive from Him, as a container we have adequate supply to pour out love to others at our choosing.  Some of us are shattered, as a result, we become leaky vessels.

He is the source of all love, but if someone is not seeking Him, then they do not have the love supply they once had and just like a watering can they become empty…  We become dry and brittle, as they are no longer pouring into us, as they once did.

If we could only skip the container of others altogether, and receive directly from the Lord, we would never be dry and brittle, only continually watered without lack.  However, just as the Father ordained Jesus to be a conduit of love walking on Earth, so are we.  It is His way.

But, the enemy has played a game on our hearts.  He has tricked us to look to one another or other things as sources for love. instead of the One True Source, being our Lord.

In doing so, he will set us up to receive immense love from a vessel and then when the vessel is no longer willing or available – we are convinced in our hearts, love was lost.

Love is still with us, because the Pure Source of love did not leave.

I am unlovable to most, but to the Source of Love – I am just what He designed, because as He was created for the purpose of pouring out.  I am created in His Image.

💗He is surely, the One who my soul longs for.

My very best sister lost a source of love two days ago, her precious Jewel 💗puppy.  I am crying with her… As I feel intently, the shattered heart she contains.

The week before the Lord spoke to us about how we are “Sitting around waiting for the next heartbreak.”  And now it came.  I will not stop pressing the Father until I have understanding, because He teaches us, as children, through everything.  In every heartache, He is there.

So I cannot sleep and I too, am waiting for my next heartache, feeling vulnerable as if I am next on the list.

My sister feels unlovable too, except by the Jewel, who was taken away.

That morning before I knew what happened, I had posted on Facebook ~ HE… Gives and He takes away and all is for our good.

I am seeing now, my mind believed it, but my heart was falling short.  It was as if I knew inside, another vessel of love was removed, without even having heard as it was quite unexpected.

So where is the love?  I know my sister will rise again on the third day, but the heartache that comes with the spaces in between are too much to bear.  Her heart is guarded now, thankfully she already let me in.  So I cry absent of her and water her in strength face to face.  It is an honor to share in her burden.

Help her to rise again my Lord.  Help us both to once again, see You as the source that gives and takes away, while understanding only You remain a constant.  When one watering can is removed, fill that void within us.  Even broken vessels are leaky for love… It is just their aim, is not always the best.

It seems as if I will never fully understand the truth of You Lord.

The remembrance of You, now seems far off and distant and the fullness of the moment has quickly dissipated, leaving now only a fingerprint of memory upon my heart, as a reminder of just how today, it is both achievable and unattainable at the same time.

I am unlovable, except by You.  There is a season for everything, except for love which always remains.

Help us Lord, to be patient in waiting for the next watering can to appear, help us not to become dry in the process, pouring into us during this dry season as we reach out to You.

One day You will wipe every tear from our eyes.  Can today be that day?

Today – Can You just love us the way we want to be loved, rather than how we need to be loved?  Or is it possible for You to mesh the two into one, because in all honesty, this doesn’t feel like love to me at all during these hurting times.

I humbly thank You Lord, for letting me utter what most are afraid to admit.

I pray that as the love of many is growing colder, You will protect my Sister and I from the frigid fingers of another.

As we come full circle into Your love, let us see with eyes of understanding that You only take away the vessel and not the love.

In heartbreak ~ You are there, yet so is the wanting.

In the love of another ~ You are there, so is the plenty.

We are simply scared to taste of a love that is so strong as death and as jealous as the grave.  The truth is, the love of You scares us.

We will not let go of You Lord and we will do our best to pry our fingers off of those vessels attached to our hearts, when You remove them. And when we can’t succeed, raise us up on the Third Day in Your love, just like You did Jesus.  They thought He was unlovable too, until He died and rose again.

One day…  They will come to know that You have loved us from the very Genesis of it all, just as You have written in Your word.  So my request is – Can You please remind us today that You love us because our hearts cannot wait another moment for this revelation?

Thank You Lord for loving the unlovable like me, because I really cannot withstand another heartbreak, as my tears are not watering my heart like they used to.

Please unbreak our hearts Lord, as You hold it in Your hands.💗

The Obligation To Be Okay~

💗How many of us feel as if there is some sort of high credentials or standards we must display in order to make the Lord “look good?”

I know this is not a typical question we might ask ourselves, but we should.  For some reason, the church has taught us and sadly we came into agreement with the lie, that as Christ followers we have an obligation to be okay.

Here is how I got there…

Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:2-5

The truth is, we can be at our breaking point and be a follower of Jesus.  I was considering the times in which I have gone to extremes to portray a picture of the Lord that is acceptable on the surface to others, while I was withering and collapsing inside, just to please others and elevate the Lord.  I foolishly thought if I looked good, so did He.  If I failed, which I do everyday, it would appear to many He has let me down in some life changing way.  Nothing could be farther from the truth.

He must increase, but I must decrease. John 3:30

We often say we are okay when we aren’t and with such a blessing, comes burden upon burden, while we lay them upon ourselves to impress the a false sense of identity of just Who Jesus is, in a World so broken and torn.  In all reality, to whom much is given, much is expected and there is no one who knows the cost we pay each day, save One ~ Jesus.  The enemy tries to use pressure to stop the blessings of the Father from flowing and we come into agreement with this pressure internally by wearing a mask, saying “I am okay.”  Wisdom tells us to serve the Lord with our minds too, not just our hearts.  It is important to note that the Lord wants our minds to be likened unto His, but so does the enemy.  Worry, despair, unworthiness, anger and such actually depletes the truth of what the Lord has said about His own and like a poison pill we embrace it and once we begin to believe it, we begin to walk it out.  When we are so hemmed into the worry of this life, we begin to take our eyes off the promise of the next one, which is eternally full of hope and joy unimaginable.  Thankfully, we have been given instruction on the matter.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5

The mind is the battlefield in which seeds are planted and fruit grows.  When we take captive these negative thoughts, they have no source or strength to grow and produce fruit or rather, an outcome in our lives.  We often imagine a worse case scenario which rarely, if ever comes into fruition.  It would be best if we just do not go there.  But…  If we are struggling in stopping our minds from carrying out these vivid imaginations, when this happens, give them to the Lord.  Carry the imagination to the fullest and then imagine a loving Savior Who turns all things together for our good.  There is not one struggle He is not in, purposing it for our release and reliance on Him.  Looking back, we see times in which He was constant in the trial and He will be again.

He was. He is and He is to come. Amen.

You do not have to look good for me and you do not have to look good for Jesus either.  I have been blessed with countless friends;  broken and whole, gay and straight, those who drink and those who do not, those who go to church and those who are mad at the church, those who embrace me and others who reject me, all are beautiful hearts crying out for relief.  There is not one person I have had the honor to know, that does not need the cure to brokenness, which is pure love Himself.  To me it is a comfort to know so many people who no matter where they are in life or what they have need of, still seek to know Him more.  I find that just precious because you are one of the chosen ones who do does not let sin stand in your way of intimacy.

If I did not know brokenness ~ How would I know what it is like to be healed?

If I did not know pain ~ How would I know what real joy is?

If I did not know counterfeit love ~ How would I recognize pure love?

If I never suffered violence ~ How would I know peace?

If I never saw the darkness of night ~ How would I embrace the joy of the morning?

I have discovered only one way to bring all lies to naught…  Know THE TRUTH.  Jesus, Himself is THE WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE.  With Him there is no obligation to be okay.  Who is really and honestly okay, anyway?  No one.  Not me and not even you.  Of course, we may have an okay day now and then, but if we are honest, there is no consistency in our lives with being okay.  You know why?

If I was okay ~ I would not need saving.

It is my prayer that each one of you have complete trust in Him and in the meantime, on those days when not being okay overwhelms you…  Just be you, knowing you are just the one He has been searching for.  You are the one in a sea of 99 who think they are okay, when in truth they are simply obligated to being okay.

May the Lord Bless You in His Love,

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Encouraging Truth ~ A Letter From A Precious Sister

💗Dear Angel,

I pray this letter finds you well and living joyously because you are so Loved!!!

Psalm 91:4, He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Chickens are amazing in that they can cover their chicks, no matter how many, with their wings and feathers, for their protection and comfort, allowing them safety and rest. Our Father feels the same way about us. He describes Himself doing this for us, through His psalmist, covering us with His feathers. Our job as His child is to trust Him and His love for us. Then He says something else important: His truth is our shield and buckler. We ask, what is this truth that shields and covers us?

Our Father loves us so much that He sent His only Begotten Son to live and die for us!!! Why does He love us so much? Why are we so important to Him? Because He created us to be His sons and daughters, His family. He desired communion with us, people of His own heart of love.

Ephesians 1:3-6, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will. To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Our Father had chosen mankind to come forth from Him before the foundation of the world. Adam and Eve chose to disobey their Father with knowledge of good and evil. The sin of selfishness entered into mankind, just like the state of satan. But Jesus hath made us acceptable, without blame and holy before our Father, in His new covenant! We are back in the Garden and Jesus calls it the Kingdom of God!

We have been taught that we are accepted by our Father because He sees us covered with the blood of Jesus, and yes, this is true. But what does it mean? It means that because of Christ, and not our works, that Our Father sees us without sin and who He designed and created us to be in His glory. We were created in love, for love. Love that fails not, nor seeks it’s own, is kind, and does not lift itself up. In His eyes, we love like He loves. We can bear all things, believe all things, hope all things and endure all things. We are not selfish at all, but consider others better than ourselves. And we see others like our Father sees them. That is the truth about us. Just like Jesus did. He saw the people for their true value, the value that mankind was purposed by God, our Father in the beginning. Jesus was not disgusted with the masses, but had all the patience and love needed to heal everyone who came to Him, to teach the people that the Kingdom of God has come and the truth of the Gospel. He did not live the religious protocol, but spent Himself on the people and their needs. He gave them truth about who they were created to be, why they were here, and healed their hearts and diseases, bringing even some back to life because they were not meant to die so young. The only boundary Jesus set was His quiet time with His Father and sometimes chose a night without sleep to do this, instead of taking time away from people who needed Him.

In the following scripture of I Corinthians, I use the KJV and the word Charity is used in place of the word Love. The word charity is love in action, a noun acting like a verb! Is this not amazing how exact The Word of God can be!?

I Corinthians 13:4-8a, Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth:….

In conclusion, I set before you The Truth about us. That we are like our Father as we have come forth from Him because we are born again. When we see Jesus, we see ourselves. Therefore, when the “old man” rises in our thoughts and actions, this is not the real us…. anymore. We can, by faith, believing what The Word says about us, then submit to our Father with humbleness to confess this is not the real me. If it is a thought, then I do not have to accept this as my own and not act on it, and praise God for His truth. If it is an action on my part that is not a loving and godly response, then I can confess this immediately, and praise God for the truth of who I really am. Thus, I keep my focus on Jesus and on truth, and the new creature that He has created me to be. I am not focusing on a sinner conciousness, keeping me in a state of failure and sin. This is resisting the devil…….by submitting to God! And as I continue to see myself coming forth from my Father by faith, I am walking in the Spirit and in truth. Thus, through His power, my flesh and my mind follow my heart that loves my God because my God loves me first! Remember how Jesus says that the truth shall set us free!? This is our shield and buckler!

John 8:31,32, Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

This dear Angel, is the only way that I have found to live by The Spirit in Truth. Believing and acting upon what The Word says about me. I have focused far too long on my sinful nature and kept myself from growing and in a constant state of condemnation through failures to be a good Christian. This way, my focus is on Jesus and The Word, and I find myself growing and becoming the woman of God that I am created to be. May The Good Master continue to teach us about Himself!

God bless you dear friend,

Your friend in Christ

He “Tends” to His Creation~

💗Today it is raining…

Just the perfect kind of rainy day, too.  The sort of day in which you want to just lay in bed all day long and absorb the refreshing washing of the atmosphere all around you.  I am feeling as if it is some sort of reward to the work done the past couple days.  I love Spring ~ actually, it is my most favorite time of the year.  A time of refreshing and renewal, as all of creation comes back into life with a hope and a promise to become beautiful again.  But it takes rain and just like the flowers, trees, birds and such need water to flourish again, so do we.

💗Rain down upon us Lord, with all that You are ~ wash over us again, renewing us with Your everlasting love.

So yesterday, I again spent many hours in the heat of the day doing yard work.  Mowing, trimming, weeding…  To make things tidy and kept.  I guess you could say I was tending to the plants the Father has blessed me with in this yard of mine, which resembles “The Garden.”  As I was weeding, the Lord reminded me of my own life and yours, as well.  And how He constantly is doing the “Weeding” in our lives to insure nothing becomes so overgrown it takes us over and chokes out the blessing of Himself, He has bestowed upon us.  He “Tends” to us daily, as His eyes are continually upon us.

I moved on to my flower garden, which has two bushes in it and they are falling a little behind all the rest of what is growing in my “Garden.”  I have watched them each day, with encouraging eyes, as I look for just a hint of green growth, which proves they still have life in them…  To no avail.  It was a very cold and harsh Winter here and I can totally see why they still slumber, however, I need to wake them up to regrowth, as Spring has definitely sprung here in Nebraska.  As I have been waiting for them to awaken themselves, it dawned on me yesterday, they have hit the snooze button long enough and need a little jolt by my hands.

Pruning time.  I argued with myself for a bit, because it would appear their presence in my flower garden is more noticed and prevalent when they are tall with reaching branches.  But, sadly, the branches are all dead and now with everything else green and flourishing around them ~ they really stick out.  Others who I have talked to about these two bushes, think it is pointless and they need rooted up and replaced.  But, I do not feel that way…  They just need a little “Tending too” and water, they need much water to flourish and come to life again.  Time to wake up!  So I cut them way back, almost to the ground.  It took quite a bit of time to do this, but it is well worth it ~ The Lord has graced me with patience like this.  When I got to the very bottom of each bush ~ Guess what I saw?  Tiny little green buds of leaves, that were hidden under all the dead branches.  It definitely was time for a wake up call to remind them the death of the past will not be beneficial to the life of tomorrow.  We are in a new season now. Amen.

💗Then thankfully today…  The Father sent the rain.

There are seasons in our lives we too can be similar to these “Seen, tall bushes” which appear to be dying.  In the same sense, the Father cuts off all the dead branches that others notice, because He is searching for life, knowing it exists internally.  The hidden things which we cover up are actually “life giving,” we just do not see it that way sometimes.  Pruning hurts and bruises while activates new growth and at the same time it will awaken us to new life and growth in Him.  Like a good, good Father He often “Tends,” to us in such a way.  And after all the cutting is complete…  It is then He sends the rain, with a promise and a hope for a better tomorrow, full of rejuvenated life.

It is my prayer that we all trust Him as He “Tends” to us daily, knowing He cares for each one of His creation ~ Me and You.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Revelation 21:5

He is making all things new in our lives, as He is both faithful and true.  Who else can we trust to “Tend” to us in such a way?  No one.  Just Him… and He purposed it this way, in order we rely on Him as our only True Source of Life.  May you regain that life in Him today, as His refreshing rain washes over you to awaken and spring forth into new life.

May the Lord Bless You in His Love,

💗Angela ~ Marked By Heaven
