❤️FACING THE GIANTS & ENTERING THE PROMISED LAND ~ ROF Broadcast Transcript, July 22, 2021 with Angela

Good Morning Blessings!  Thank you for joining me today on this ROF Ministries broadcast!  I am really excited about our talk today, giving all glory to the Lord!  He is just so amazing how He insures we are settled and at peace in His trusted care.  I recently was listening to another messenger, who happened to mention Caleb and I just knew I had to take a deeper look into what the Lord wanted to share with us.  I pray this message today gives you great hope and encouragement to stay the course on the straight and narrow path, with your eyes continually fixated on Jesus – no matter what comes your way.

The title the Lord gave me was…  Facing The Giants.  Some of you likely saw that movie years ago – today’s message will tie into victory in the most trying situations we face each day.
Giants…  These giants in our lives – they are scary, huge, threatening, situations/people out of control – in truth a giant can be anything the Lord requires us to face that can only be overcome through His power.  Not by might, but only by Spirit is how we overcome all giants.  No worldly weapon formed by us can defeat these spiritual giants which manifest in the natural fragments of our lives and quite often they only reside in the mind.  I guess you could call it being pressed in the corner with no way out and whatever that giant is – it will overshadow, saber rattle us and do all it can to infuse us with fear to the point we see no way out.

I don’t know about you… But I have a tendency to run away from giants… lol  I am sure some of you can relate – but listen, some of you come out swinging and fighting in all your might – well, neither approach works when you are called to slay the giants we face.  It requires the power of the Spirit of God to rise up within you to defeat any sort of enemy.  Any flesh entity that is labeled a giant, must also have the spirit of a giant – fierce and a force to be reckoned with.  I would be remiss if I did not mention the many believers who seem caught up in the curiosity of giants these days – thankfully, the Lord is raising up some David’s who are anointed to slay all giants in the land, both physically and spiritually – making them truly unsuccessful and of no effect.

One reason this Bible story caught my attention so much is because it mentioned the Promised Land, which is something the Lord has been placing upon my spirit lately.  There is a spiritual Promised Land before us and as we begin to walk by spirit and not sight, we can fully enter into this secret place today  – how exciting is that!  I long to have that deep rooted faith in Jesus so much that nothing can move me away from His sovereignty in my thought life – that whatever life throws at me…  I look to Him and say, I trust you Lord and mean it – and know it…  I am sure you all feel the same way.  I pray that we can stop going around and around the mountain until we are wore out with doing it our way while dwelling continually in the security of His way.  To me, that is abiding within His Kingdom which is at hand… evidenced by the proof of entering into this Promised Land where we no longer fear, seek of or as spies – run away from the giants we see, edifying them with reports of how mighty they are.

We seem so occupied like spies who are spreading a bad report among where we camp/reside, passing fear, never quite fully entering into that Promised Land.  Let’s talk about it a little… It’s in the Bible, of course, and I just give an overview of what happened as a refresher to us all.

Caleb story

Here in this Bible story we gain wisdom to not believe or entertain the bad reports, the fear trying to be instilled within us by spies of what they have been shown as giants in the land.  When the Lord leads us and we seek only His guidance, He leads us unto a Spiritual Promised Land where our souls will prosper and all darkness is irrelevant to have dominion or permission to effect our lives in anyway.  So we must ask ourselves?  Who’s report are you going to believe?  God’s or the spies who bring back a bad report laden with fear?  No giant or fallen angel has been able to defeat the Lord yet, so as we abide hidden within Him, they cannot touch us either.  By entertaining the bad reports, we give entry into their power over us – spiritual speaking we “see” them and they then can “see” us – we willfully walk out of the hedge of protection in such a way.  These beings enter in by doors we open out of curiosity most often.

It really is sometimes hard to wrap your mind around the fact even Moses was not permitted to enter into the Promised Land – the land flowing with milk and honey – which is divine peace and security with reliance on the Lord.  He saw it, but did not enter into it — don’t be like Moses… lol…  where you see the total abiding hidden within Jesus and yet, do not enter in. Yeah… don’t do that!

Moses & the Promised Land

So we see here what can happen if we do not wait on the Lord to intervene by taking matters into our own hands or if our faith is vested more in self of what I can do in my might, over what the Lord has already done – defeating darkness and anything touched by death.  And how would we know?  By the reports we are receiving and giving out….  Is it the good news or bad reports?  This is a very corrective and convicting word on many levels and is extremely serious in nature to the Father.

The Promised Land is complete and total reliance on the Father where there is joy unspeakable following a wilderness experience where we learn to lean upon Him, are humbled and yet keep within our hearts His word.  We each are on a Spiritual journey of highs and lows, we’ve have our hearts shattered and our dreams and hopes dashed to pieces at times – the Bible calls this walking in the desert, as well – but is it of the Father’s heart to lay no additional burden upon us in order for us to believe.  When we still are not walking fully with the Lord during these seasons it can be dragged out for a very long time if we are still seeking to live a sinful life such as complaining constantly, if we are not fully trusting in the Lord as the victorious one and if we are still stiff-necked and wanting our own way, rather than submitting to His.  For these reasons, what would possibly be a very short journey can turn into a life long one… until we surrender our wills and surrender fully to the Lord we are still blinded to the sovereign rule and reign of Him on Earth.  The Israelites had an eleven day journey turn into 40 years for these same reasons.  Thank You Lord for sharing this truth with us today.  And just like in Israel’s day… many will never enter into the Promised Land because they choose to continue wandering in the desert in a constant cycle of complaining, worshiping idols, elevating darkness, looking for signs and seeking God’s reactions over relationship with Him.

The wilderness experience is so very valuable to our journey here on Earth, as it breaks us free from sin and bondage while the Lord’s continual hand is upon us to mold us into the image of His Son, Jesus.  However, if often lasts way longer than it needs to because we refuse to be purged of all rebellion.  The wilderness does not taint our souls, but rather exposes what was already laid dormant and hidden – which if we agree to the purification process – it is purified up and out of us, so that we become a new creature and a vessel of usage and the Father does a quick work when we align with Him, rather than against Him.  We go from being a child of disobedience through the wilderness experience, to an adopted child of God, as an heir to His Kingdom, crying Abba Father, having shared in the suffering with Jesus so that we may also share in His glory.  (Romans 8:14-17)  Once we are fully adopted, the promise is fulfilled and we are no longer orphans, just as the Father promised.  It truly is a glorious promise, isn’t it?

When the Lord beckons us to face our giants, all our fears… He does so in order we see just how powerful He is and that nothing can come near us without His permission then the tests greatly dimish, we go from wandering in the wilderness of worry and fretting over what will be and enter into the Promised land, where all needs are met and victory is satisfied by resting in Him, honoring Him and trusting Him for all our tomorrows.

Truthfully, most battles cannot be fought without Him, although we often try and always no battles are won unless He has a hand in them – In Jesus we are victorious and separate of Him we can do nothing.

Seeing darkness and evil ways does not give us a hand over them – that’s what the spies thought.  Knowing about evil does not help us defeat it – only knowing Jesus assists us to defeat darkness.  But when we look to Jesus who already defeated all evil – we see victory in all struggles, as overcomers in Him.

This is why I do not like glorifying evil in any way, shape or fashion.  It is also why I refuse to listen to spies who all they want to do is share bad reports of how great the giants are in the land.  The sad thing to me is – that everything imagined or true that has been reported on or conjured up – people will have to face one day.  Yes, they will come face to face with that thing – then a decision will be made by them to have faith and surrender fully to the Sovereignty of the Father.  But there really is a better way, a narrow way.  A way in which we dwell in the secret place of the Most High and are under the shadow of the Almighty.  No longer under the shadow of darkness – but where the Lord is our refuge and fortress and we trust in Him.  It is in this place of promise that we are delivered from the snare and all pestilences.  We are covered, we trust in Him and it is His truth that shields us from the bad reports of twisted spies.  While looking to Him to feed us truth we shall not be afraid, entertain or be amused by the terror at night or arrows unleashed at us.  No pestilence that walks in darkness or destruction which is to come may come near us.  All around us many will fall but nothing shall come near us.  We will only see the reward (manifestation) of the wicked from afar because we made the Lord our refuge and the Most High our habitation (where you abide).  No evil shall touch us, no plague shall overtake us – for the Lord has angels to watch over us continually and keep us in placements of security.  We will be risen up above the effects of evil so we do not trip and stumble.  All ferocious threats shall be under our feet for us to trample because we are unmovable in our love for the Lord, so we shall be delivered.  We shall be high above all threats because we know His Name.  We shall call upon the Lord when we are in need or being threatened in anyway and He will answer us because He is with us in troubled times.  We will be a vessel of honor, satisfied by the revelation of Salvation – saved from all evil which perishes – in Jesus Mighty Name.

Now isn’t that good news?  I basically just paraphrased Psalm 91, which you are familiar with I am sure.  To enter into the Promised Land, requires more than just knowing Psalm 91 – you must live it and believe it with all your heart without being enticed from words that separate you from God’s truth.

Resisting the enemy for him to flee means… resisting all the bad reports he is handing out.  Do you know this?  We are not to know the deep secrets of satan, it says in Revelation.  Entertaining this mixture will keep you out of the Promised Land and wandering and floundering with a lack of direction and clarity – you become not sober and the enemy steals your joy and peace.  But the Lord’s plan is a much better plan.  His promises bring life and life abundantly.  It is not we no longer see darkness – but do not seek to see it and are not moved by its threats any longer.  All fear melts away in the presence of our loving Lord.

They say there is nothing to fear, but fear itself.  How true is that?  When we no longer seek to save our lives, what can threaten us anymore really?  Our lives are hidden in Jesus – He is our source of life, so all striving to save your own life can stop.  You don’t have to believe me, we can look to the Word and let it speak truth into our souls – which is much better than my rambles, no doubt.

Now there is something truly victorious that happens when you stay within the confines of the good news…  You begin to look narrowly upon the enemy’s saber rattling and are settled believing – is this the one who made the nations tremble?  You begin to see just how ineffective and small he actually is and how great our God is in comparison – it says the Father sits in the Heavens and laughs at the enemy’s plans – that should be us, as well.  Abiding within the Promise Land of our Lord means – you are untouchable, the enemy is resisted and under your feet.  This is spiritual water walking for all those who keep their eyes fixated on Jesus – you will not sink, feel the weight of the World or look to any other than Him, you will no longer believe a lie, because you love the truth, Jesus who leads the way to life

.

Ephesians 6 tells us:

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

As an ambassador to the kingdom, we speak boldly the good news of the might and power in Jesus who defeated all effects of darkness in our lives today.  By doing so, we quench all fiery darts yielded our way – in other words, they are of no effect, fruitless and unable to move or sway us away from victory as an overcomer and Saint in God’s Kingdom.

Please remember and cling to Jesus always as your blessed hope, no matter what the enemy may do to bring destruction via distractions – actually all he can manifest are distractions.  Trying to keep up with him and his plans will make you weary and wear you out – remember many Saints in the last days will be worn out, unless you contain the patience to wait upon the Lord to move and act.  Those with eyes to see, look at the bigger picture seeing God moving to defeat all darkness, as it is revealed.  Revealing darkness binds it’s power to operate, which explains why it seeks to remain hidden – only hidden things create curiosity, right?  It is the element of curiosity which stirs up within humanity to seek out the ways of darkness.

Romans 8 tells us a good word to cling to in these last days especially, knowing all things work together for our good and for all those who are being called into His purpose:

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

33 Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So what shall we say when we are bombarded with the bad reports of spies all the day long?  Our only answer is… But God.  To point continuously to Him in faith that in Him and because of Him, we shall not fear.  We believe we are loved by a loving Father and nothing can separate us, His children, from His love being poured out upon us.  No charge brought against us to cause fear of what the enemy may bring upon us for harm’s sake will prosper in our lives.  He told us – tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, perils and weapons will not have dominion over us because we are more than conquerors through Jesus because He loves us.

He wants us 100% persuaded and convinced that death, life, angels, principalities and powers of darkness, anything present in our lives which threaten us or anything to come which will be a threat to us, any creature or even giants… that nothing can separate us from the love of God found in Jesus.  He said nothing can separate us from Himself… He means nothing and knowing this without a shadow of doubt truly is residing within the Promised Land of the Kingdom at hand, today.

I pray each of you realize just how loved you are by our Father, Who doesn’t choose to send people to perish in everlasting torment, they choose that path themselves.  His desire is for all to be saved and it grieves Him when someone denies His providence in their lives.  Many right now are in mental torment and the Father has sent you as a light to guide them into freedom by speaking good reports of victory into the shadows of their thoughts.

I pray this encourages you in some way, to face the giants without fear by standing on the good news of victory found solely in Jesus.  May you rest in His arms, knowing not one hair on your head is harmed when covered by His protection and share this truth at every divine opportunity the Lord lays before you.  He has great plans for you, so may you rejoice in knowing you are surely saved, all the way around saved and not just for eternity but for every obstacle and threat which comes your way today.  May all darkness which surrounds you be repelled by His mercy and grace.

Remember, the Father is not in Heaven wringing His hands over what the enemy is doing here.  He is Sovereign and in control of all darkness, which is being dispelled more and more each day along with all the bad reports and soon, very soon, the spies will have nothing to report as the majesty of God appears before all, as a witness to His sovereignty.  It is my prayer, you see that today, rather than needing a display.  God’s children do not need to see it to believe it, all they need is a tiny seed of faith and He shall give the increase day by day, we just need to be very careful to who and what we are listening to right now due to the increase in deception – the Good News is our only way out, when we love the truth, no longer desiring to believe a lie.
